LA BELLE OXYDE

We worked with Mitsubishi estates to commission a captivating entrance piece for Warwick Court, together with Giles’ Miller’s Dual.

“A vortex of shimmering gold”

Warwick Court is a stunning refurbishment of a 180,000 sq ft building, sitting proudly on Paternoster Square. With elegant Portland stone surrounds, and the iconic St Paul’s Cathedral just opposite, Warwick Court’s reception space was deserving of a jewel in its crown…

Christophe Gaignon’s La Belle Oxyde is a sculptural work which creates a textured duality; the outer surface reflecting the building’s stunning entrance hall, whilst also containing a vortex of shimmering gold, which adds warmth to the modern space. The piece also makes reference to a gold coin, a nod to Paternoster Square’s financial and banking history which continues even now.
